HTC Corporation has joined hands with Tata DoCoMo to launch the HTC ChaCha in India. The smartphone features a dedicated Facebook button that allows you to share just about anything at a single touch. The one-touch access to Facebook service has been integrated throughout the HTC Sense experience. The feature-packed smartphone combines a 6.6-cm (2.6-inch) touch screen with a full QWERTY keypad.

Under the bundle offer, Tata DoCoMo 3G prepaid customers can avail 3GB free data valid for a period of 90 days whereas 1GB free data is offered free each month to postpaid customers across all 3G circles valid for 90 days. All 3G customers will also get 3 hour of free Mobile TV that includes data access charges valid for 90 days.

While Tata DoCoMo 2G prepaid customers can avail 3GB free data and 300 Tata to Tata local calling valid for a period of 90 days whereas 1GB free data and 100 minutes Tata to Tata calling is offered free each month for three months to postpaid customers across all 2G circles.

Xperia PLAY Android PlayStation Phone by Sony Ericsson

Sony Ericsson on Monday announced the game changing Xperia PLAY, the latest phone in its Xperia range of Android based smartphones. Xperia PLAY delivers the smartphone functionality that the most serious power users could need, teamed with the immersive gaming experience that any gamer would want. 

In portrait mode, the Android smartphone offers all the benefits that users have come to expect from Sony Ericsson’s existing range of Xperia smartphones with best-in-class entertainment experiences, a great 5 megapixel camera, a brilliant 4” multi-touch screen and great social networking features.

However, slide out the gaming control and users enter a new world of immersive mobile gaming. The slide out game pad reveals a digital D pad, two analogue touch pads, two shoulder buttons and the four PlayStation icons: circle, cross, square and triangle. Qualcomm’s optimized Snapdragon processor with a 1Ghz CPU and embedded Adreno GPU graphics processor deliver silky smooth 60fps play-back 3D mobile gaming and Web browsing with minimal power consumption so Xperia PLAY users can enjoy long hours of battery life and game time.

Nokia C7 Symbian Smartphone Shipment Starts

The smartphone for the design-conscious social networker, the Nokia C7, has started shipping to customers around the world. The second Nokia smartphone based on the new Symbian platform, the Nokia C7 follows hot on the heels of the company's entertainment powerhouse, the Nokia N8.

The Nokia C7 combines stainless steel and glass in a sleek, full-touch design. The 3.5 inch AMOLED display is ideal for networking, with updates from Facebook and Twitter fed directly to the home screen, as well as one touch access to many popular email accounts including Ovi Mail, Yahoo!® Mail and Windows Live Hotmail. Huawei IDEOS: Huawei Android Smartphone with Google Launched

Huawei, a leader in providing next-generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, today announced the launch of IDEOS, an affordable smartphone powered by the latest iteration of Android 2.2 (also known as 'Froyo' ). The smartphone is priced between US$100 and US$200, depending on the market. IDEOS redefines the "entry-level" concept by combining high-quality hardware and software with a high price-to-performance ratio. IDEOS will be released in a number of countries across Europe, Asia-Pacific, North America and Latin America.
