Hyundai unveils MB-910 watch phone

Hyundai Mobile announces its plan to roll out the latest phone watch, known as the MB-910 in the United Kingdom.

Director for Hyundai Mobile UK, Roland Prinz, remarks, “The Hyundai Mobile brand is about the latest cutting edge technology at a price point which is accessible to the masses. Already a hit in Europe, we have high hopes for the MB-910’s entry to the UK market. We are delighted to confirm that we intend to make the MB-910 available in the UK and we will announce our specific plans shortly.”

Initially launched in mainland Europe, the classic looking wristwatch-style mobile phone features Triband 900/1800/1900 MHz support for effective working experience internationally, GPRS Class 12, WAP 2.0 browser and support for Bluetooth 2.0 and USB data cable.

Weighing 58g and measuring 58 x 44 x 16 mm, it features a 132 x 176 pixel TFT touch display to access email client along with video and music player by just a touch of a finger. It also comes equipped with MMS / SMS and 64 Polyphonic ringtones.

Working on a 400 mAh battery, the MB-910 phone watch offers a talk-time of up to 3 hours and up to 70 hours on standby.

Hyundai Mobile UK will make the MB-910 wrist-watch-phone available for purchase for a suggested price of £200 (approx. Rs. 14,385) SIM free by end of Q2 2009.
